Lord, I thank you for the gift of life
and for your love.
Help me to know myself better
and to know my talents,
as I try to choose my life's work.
Help me to see and to understand
all the paths open to me.
Help me to choose a life work
which will be in response
to your love for me.
Give me strength, Lord,
to do well
in whatever life work I choose.
