religious life

4) To provide example through personal Christian family life as a means of encouraging vocations
5) To accept and carry out assigned tasks and to report on the progress of assigned work.
6) To work with other parish organizations such as, but not limited to, Pastoral Councils, Liturgy
Committees, Parish Religious Education Programs, Altar and Rosary Societies, Holy Name
Societies,Youth Organizations, Knights of Columbus and other organizations.
Committee Activities:
1) To encourage parishioners to pray for, learn about, support and recruit vocations to the priesthood
and religious life
2) To provide opportunities to develop vocation awareness through various parish structures already
in existence
3) Sponsor vocation discernment activites in the parish
4) Encourage Parish Prayer for Vocations
5) Sponsor a parent night and discuss vocations and invite the Diocesan Vocations Committee
